- 1 bundle Pechay (bok choy) or 1/2 cabbage strips
- 1 kilo Beef Meat (Beef shank) cut into cubes
- 1 whole small onion
- 2 medium corn cut into 4 pieces(optional)
- 1/4 ginger(optional) cut into cubes
- 5 pieces Saging na saba (optional)
- 1 tbsp whole pepper corn
- 1 stalk onion leeks diced
- 5 tbsp of fish sauce(patis) or salt alternative
- 1 liter of water
- In a big pot add water and then place the meat. Add the whole onion and whole pepper corn. Bring to boil about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until beef is tender. Pressure cooker only takes 30 minutes*
- After boiling, when meat is tender turn off the heat for 3 minutes. Remove some fats to prevent excessive cholesterol.
- Turn on minimal heat and add corn. Season with fish sauce and some salt. Simmer for about 10 minutes until corn is tender.
- Add the banana , cabbage or bok choy leaves. Simmer until veggies are cooked.
- Lastly sprinkle with onion leeks. Turn off heat and simmer with remaining heat.
- Serve.
